I booked for three adults and the booking was confirmed, but once we arrived they refused to provide for three unless I paid extra. I understand that hotels have rules and charges, but staff spoke to me rudely and arrogantly. I was also traveling with my seven-month-old baby and asked for a heater to keep the room at a safe temperature. They first said it depended on availability, then denied it at check-in. When I asked to use my own heater briefly, they wanted extra money for electricity. There was no sensitivity to our situation. The booking listed towels, toiletries, and free water bottles. I raised that in chat with the receptionist, who shouted from the reception, “Lijiye, aaiye, aap kya keh rahe ho!” When I went over, he said, “Who are you? I will not reply to you on chat. And I will shout from reception this the way here..” He also yelled that towels are only given on request and there is no free water because it was an “OYO room.” Being shouted at in front of other people was humiliating and frightening with my family and baby there. For a moment I was afraid he might make us leave, and I didn't know where we'd go at night with an infant. Some people seem to think speaking English makes bad manners acceptable. They claim to have “24×7 room service,” but when I asked for hot water in a bottle for my baby, I was told, “Go to the kitchen and take it yourself.” I asked whether I'd also have to go to the kitchen if I ordered food. He said I first had to go to reception and pay, and only then would the order be processed. That isn't room service. There was also a disturbing sound at night until 10:30, as if some work was going on. This was mentally disturbing and felt unsafe as well as disrespectful. A disagreement about a policy or charge is one thing, but aggressive shouting and no compassion toward a family with an infant are unacceptable. The hotel lacked basic hospitality, respect for guests, professionalism, and sensitivity toward families and children. Think twice before staying here with family. I'm sharing photos of the room condition, with no toiletries, towel, or water bottle that were mentioned in the booking.
We paid for a stay and got an unacceptable level of service. It was frustrating enough that I felt I should warn people, even though I rarely write reviews. Save your money.
The hotel was decent for the price, but the staff were extremely rude. I'd warn anyone booking to think carefully about staying here.
I had a good four-night stay. The food and service were both good, and I'd recommend the place.
The restaurant food was nice, and the staff were polite. The rooms were really clean too.
