The staff were laughing as I left, knowing I had no way to get my money back. It was a shameful way for Swarna Mayuri and Agoda to treat a customer, and I can only imagine how many others have gone through something similar. The amount I lost may not be much, but this treatment was inexcusable. I hope the hotel management sees this. I booked and paid in advance through Agoda, but when I arrived at Swarna Mayuri in Guntur, staff rudely told me they weren't accepting online bookings. They refused to refund me, and it felt like they'd simply taken my money. I contacted customer care, but all they said was, "Sorry for the inconvenience." I was left out of pocket with no recourse.
