The food was tasty, though expensive. My stay was otherwise a string of problems. I'd booked a double room for two days through Goibibo for 1400, but they asked for another 800 rupees. I needed somewhere to stay in Gurugram, so I paid without arguing. After arriving, I then waited two hours at reception. The bathroom wasn't properly cleaned, water was blocked in the bathing area, and I found a beedi there. There was also a liquor bottle with a few ml left on the TV stand. The blanket smelled foul and was untidy. At checkout they tried to charge another 300 rupees, and I refused to pay a single paisa extra. This lodge exploits people who happen to end up there. Think twice before booking.

With a confirmed booking, we still weren't given a room or an official cancellation, so we had to look for somewhere else in the harsh afternoon sun. The staff member at reception, an elderly person, was shockingly rude and unprofessional, and demanded twice the agreed price for a room. We spent over 30 minutes with Agoda customer care, but the booking still wasn't canceled. The owner told them we hadn't provided valid ID, even though the same ID got us checked into another hotel just an hour later. This was the worst experience we've ever had. We won't visit or recommend this property again.
