Hotel Anandam

The food was tasty and the hotel was good, but the manager was rude. I was polite as a customer and felt basic courtesy should go both ways. Even when a customer is angry, management should try to handle things fairly. Instead, he said they only deal with corporates, didn't believe in my feedback, and that a review wouldn't affect him at all. It came across as pompous and very rude. The manager needs to learn to be a bit more polite.

The location is very good, with autos and Ola easy to get and Cyberhub nearby. The managers were cooperative and willing to help. My car was parked in front of the gate and felt secure, as they have security cameras running 24/7. I stayed for 15 days, and the rooms were cleaned regularly, which was commendable. Breakfast was free, with plenty of choices and good, clean food. You can order lunch, dinner, evening snacks, or tea. The food was tasty, though I found it very expensive. The rooms aren't as lavish as at other hotels, but that wasn't what I was looking for in accommodation this time.

The hotel is away from the town's hustle and bustle, and there's a public park across the road where you can walk or jog any time of day. I had a really good stay, with caring, polite, helpful staff and excellent room service. Anything ordered arrived within minutes. Both the vegetarian and non-vegetarian food were wonderful, in quality and taste. The laundry service was good too, though one of my companions had a bad experience when clothes he sent for washing went missing. The staff were kind enough to apologize upfront and compensate him instead of arguing. Overall, a good experience in Delhi.

The location and service were good, and the housekeeping staff were great. My room was only just okay, with moisture on the ceiling, and the food prices were far too high. There's a lot of room for improvement. Decent enough, but definitely not worth the price.
