Hotel Azad Square by Oyo Rooms

The rooms were clean and the staff friendly. A comfortable stay, and I’d definitely recommend this hotel.

We ordered food from outside, which apparently isn’t allowed, so I can’t comment on the kitchen. The rates were reasonable and the service was good. The rooms were clean, as you’d expect from a 2 star hotel, though the basic amenities aren’t the sort you can take with you. The washroom was okay, but the floor could have been cleaned more. It wasn’t exactly dirty.

For under 500 through MMT, it was decent value. At anything above 1000, I’d avoid it, and I wouldn’t recommend it for a family stay. The room had decent lighting, working AC, a comfortable bed, wardrobe, and study table. The bathroom was clean, with hot water, a towel, shampoo, handwash, and body lotion. The food needs work: the Veg Thali looked nicely presented but lacked taste and quantity. The location beside Jharsa Village wasn’t great, with an unclean approach and a garbage filled ground outside the window. Wifi didn’t work. The receptionist said it was only for WhatsApp chat and couldn’t be used on a laptop.

The service, manager, management, food, and cleaning were all the worst.
