Hotel D Meridien by OYO Rooms

The restaurant food was only average, and there wasn't much variety. The front desk assistant also came across as rather harsh. I stayed at D' Meridien on a business trip to Manesar because it was the only nearby hotel option in Sector 8, and the stay itself was just okay. Getting there was a hassle. Although the hotel is on a main road, Google Maps sent me through a crowded market and narrow side streets where only one vehicle could pass at a time. The hotel should give guests clearer directions. Parking for four-wheelers was limited, and the gates shut around 10:00-11:00 PM, with nobody available to let in guests who arrived later. The hotel has ties with several corporate houses, but its standards, amenities, and service need work before it can be a preferred option for business travelers. There are several things to improve, though I hope the management takes this feedback on board. With some changes, it could be a more guest-friendly place to stay.

The food is great, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian, though it takes a while because they prepare it fresh, so be patient. Parking is limited because the space is confined. The location isn't that good, but once you're inside the hotel, it's nice. It's in IMT Manesar, Sector 3A.

Service is slow, and for the price the food isn't anything special. The roti quality needs to improve, and the portions are small. Seems more suited to local company colleagues. Non-vegetarians could go, but I can't comment on that food since I'm fully vegetarian.

The rooms are spacious and the restaurant is good, but upkeep is poor. Seepage on the walls is common, and some electrical switchboard screws are loose. Visitors from certain companies get a discount. The hotel's proximity to the Maruti Suzuki entry gate is its main advantage for MSIL visitors.
