I forgot to hand the keys back at checkout, and the receptionist didn’t ask for them either. Within an hour, calls I hadn’t been able to answer at work turned into threats. They sent me a photo of my government ID, said they knew my address and would come beat me up, and threatened to file an FIR saying I had stolen the keys. My number was also passed to 7-8 other people, who kept calling and messaging me on WhatsApp. I feel like taking this to Consumer Court. OYO should step in to handle situations like this instead of leaving the hotel and customer to communicate directly. The way this was dealt with felt completely unprofessional, like I was dealing with people running desi motels. After this experience, I won’t use the OYO app or recommend it. Their management is not up to the mark.

We booked 2 rooms for 2 nights at Rs. 6500/-, but after the booking was confirmed, it showed Rs. 961/- for one room with double occupancy. The room itself was awful: no housekeeping staff, no hanging rods in the cupboard, no kitchen, and no curtains anywhere in the hotel. The flooring was poor too. I’ve never had accommodation this bad, and every OYO property is pathetic.

There were ants everywhere, and the linen was dirty and torn. The room and bathroom were unclean, with a broken shower panel and toilet seat. The AC leaked water and made a creaking noise. Worst OYO experience.

Everything else was up to the mark, and this is a decent budget restaurant without any major flaws. The only thing missing was the mini fridge, even though OYO says one is available.

The shower knob came off in my hand when I tried to use it. My room was unclean, and the towels were dirty too. There was no housekeeping staff or in-house kitchen, and no market or restaurants nearby. The room service was pathetic. A horrible experience.
