OYO 11434 AB Residency

It was around midnight, so we agreed to pay directly after they refused to honor our OYO booking and said no rooms were available. They told us we'd get a room if we paid them instead. Once we checked in, we found that the room key wasn't available because the lock wasn't working. The washroom didn't have a regular lock either, and the balcony was the worst part. I'll attach some pictures.

The location is in a good neighborhood, but the hotel itself is a nightmare. The linen and washrooms were dirty, and there's no maintenance. Breakfast was okay. It seemed mostly used by drinking groups rather than for stays, with endless empty beer, wine, and whisky bottles around. Not a good place for couples. This is one of the shabbiest places I've seen.

The worst issue was that they wouldn't give us a key to lock the room, saying the lock wasn't working. The washroom door didn't work either, and the bucket and other things in there were very dirty. The room was also missing proper lighting, a dustbin, a telephone, and other basic facilities.

I checked in at noon and left at 2 pm to book another hotel. In those two hours, I found serious hygiene and safety problems. The bathroom wasn't clean, the AC leaked water into the room, and that water was getting into the electrical sockets. An earthing wire was exposed. The door had no key, so we couldn't lock the room if we went out. There was no telephone, the hotel was hard to locate, and there was no hotel name anywhere. The hotel wouldn't accept the prices shown on MMT/OYO and demanded extra payment. They wouldn't let us check in without paying the difference. The receptionist was very rude, and the owner couldn't be reached in an emergency. I also doubt there are hidden cameras in the rooms. Photos may help show what I mean.
