OYO Townhouse 330 DLF Phase-2

I booked two nights but checked out after just one because the room I got was in much worse condition than the photos in the app. I’d selected a balcony room there, only to be told by the receptionist that none were available, even though the app showed them as available. That was disappointing and confusing. When I arrived, the receptionist also advised me not to pay through the hotel app, saying it might put my reservation at risk. I expected app payment to be straightforward, so that was concerning. Clearer information about room availability and more accurate online photos would improve the guest experience.

The room was filthy when I arrived, and they only cleaned it after I got there. There was no water in the washroom for two hours, cobwebs that I had to ask staff to remove, and the reception manager, Roshan, was rude and didn’t offer a proper solution. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. It was a really awful stay, and Oye still didn’t refund me even after I sent photos of the rooms and washroom.

They refused to honor online bookings from OYO or MMT and told me to cancel and seek a refund through customer care. They said I had to pay more or leave. I paid 1200 per night, though OYO showed 850, and the employees treated me disrespectfully, saying that was what I got for 1200 and I shouldn’t ask for more. They didn’t give me a receipt. The room was disgusting, nothing like the pictures. Lights didn’t work, the wash basin was holding water, and the sheets were dirty. It also felt like a hookup place, with rooms rented by the hour. When I asked to change rooms, they told me to wait two hours for another guest’s room. I felt disgusted even sitting on the bed and left within half a day. Google should have a zero-star option. The rooms and staff were awful. Read the one-star reviews before booking. I’m surprised it has a 3.7 rating.

The bathroom had cockroaches and was clogged with washbasin water. The pillows, bed sheets, and linens were very dirty, there were bad-looking spots on the wall like spit or vomit, and cigarette pieces and a bad smell were around the room. The staff behaved badly when I said I’d paid online. The receptionist asked who pays online for OYO hotels and said there’d be no room guarantee next time if I paid online. I uninstalled the OYO app right away and won’t book through it again. I felt like I’d spent one night in hell. If check-in hadn’t been at 12 PM, I would have left even at the cost of losing the money. I wouldn’t recommend staying here for work or with family. At checkout I saw couples negotiating prices for one- or two-hour stays, and then I understood the kind of place I was in.
