I arrived at 11:30 at night after paying for an online booking, only to be told there were no rooms and that I could have a basement room. It smelled bad, had no ventilation, the AC didn't work, and the bedsheet was dirty. I was shown another room and agreed to check in once it had been cleaned, but then the receptionist demanded extra money, shouted, and spoke abusively. He told me to leave and said he wouldn't give me a room, that it was his property and I could do whatever I wanted. Based on what happened to me, I wouldn't choose this place; someone else could have the same experience.

The bed made it impossible to sleep: the sheets were filthy and the worn springs dug into my back. There were dead insects on the floor as soon as I entered, and the bathroom wasn't any better, with a barely working flush and a useless jet spray. This place was a nightmare, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, even for free.

The room was in the basement and looked nothing like the photos. The toilet still had urine stains when I checked in, and there was hair from the previous guest on the bed, so I doubt the bedding had been changed. The manager kept saying someone would come to clean, but it took a long time, and even then the cleaner seemed reluctant to do the bed.

The reception was rude, and there was no security. The place felt shady and run down, with a damp smell, holes in the linen, beetle spit marks everywhere, and broken door knobs and locks. Most of the room lights had been taken out to save electricity, and there was no TV or Wi-Fi. It doesn't get much worse.

The staff were cooperative enough, but my room wasn't maintained properly. Water leaked from the AC the whole time I was there. The bathroom door had no handle or mat, and although the OYO app said a TV was available, there wasn't one in the room.
