Sands Inn GH Hotel

The rooms were extremely dirty, and the staff were ill-mannered. I had booked 5 rooms for my in-laws because this place was near my home, but the service was awful and pathetic. I cancelled and took my guests somewhere else.

What a bad experience, and a waste of money. The receptionist was unprofessional, and the place felt like a dharmsala, maybe worse than one. There were no amenities. The Wi-Fi was 2G speed and sometimes disconnected. The water bottle was a local brand and wasn't sealed. There was no soap or shampoo in the washroom, no hot water, and the TV didn't work. A really bad stay.

I was here on a weekday for a friend's marriage. The place isn't wheelchair accessible. The rooms are small and smelled bad, and the bathrooms smelled too, with doors that didn't work. The air-conditioner was very noisy, and the water provided was loose water repacked in Bisleri bottles. For breakfast, they sent tea and bread-pakoras to the rooms.

The receptionist quoted 1.5k when I called from the airport. I said I was seeing 1.2k on goibibo, and she told me to bring a screenshot and they'd match it. But once I got to the hotel, she said the price would go up on the payment page. They got us to come there knowing that, then asked for more money. I didn't take the room, but it felt like they hooked us in and then made ridiculous demands. Cheats!
