The Iris - A Boutique Hotel

The breakfast buffet was one of the best parts of my 12-day stay. There was a broad range of fresh food for different preferences, the dining area was clean, and restaurant staff kept everything replenished and were attentive. The fitness center was well equipped and not too crowded, while the clean pool was a nice place to unwind, though it could use more seating. My room was spacious and bright, and the bed was comfortable with fresh linens, but there were visible carpet stains and the bathroom needed a more thorough clean. The room's upkeep was disappointing. The hotel itself had a clean, nicely decorated lobby, and check-in was smooth and efficient. Front desk staff were courteous and explained the amenities and services. The location was a big plus, with easy access to local attractions, restaurants, and public transport. My stay was satisfactory, but room cleanliness fell short. I hope management improves room maintenance.

The room was clean, spacious, and nice, and room service always arrived on time. Friendly, helpful staff made our retreat enjoyable with their excellent service and hospitality. Pinak shety was especially welcoming and helpful throughout our stay.

There was mold and fungus all over the room, including the walls, cupboards, taps, bathroom, and bed. With no ventilation and such a strong musty smell, it was impossible to stay even a few hours. The wardrobe was covered in fungus too. The bathroom had broken, leaky faucets, standing water, poor drainage, and a geyser that didn't work. I brought all this to the staff's attention, but they seemed indifferent and did nothing about it. It was a terrible stay, and I can't recommend this place.
