We booked at an affordable price for our pilgrimage to Guruvayoor temple on 30-12-2025. The hotel is about 250 mtr away, an easy walk. Our room was clean, and the bathroom was tidy and hygienic. The front staff member was helpful and approachable, and shared useful tips about the temple and its rules. The cleaning staff also kept things hygienic throughout.

We stayed with my family on our last day, after cancelling the other hotels because this one offered parking for our traveller when we booked. At the hotel they said travellers weren’t allowed to park there, even though I could see a place for one. After we discussed it at reception, they agreed to cover the fee for the Devaswm parking. But at checkout they refused and told us to pay it ourselves. It’s not really about the money, it’s about trust and hospitality. They didn’t keep their word, so I can’t recommend the place. We booked three rooms. One bedroom had no blanket, and the blankets and towels were dirty. We pointed out the missing blanket, but they still wouldn’t provide one. When my father asked about the bedsheet, the receptionist asked why we needed it in that climate and said customers used it as a floor mat. That felt insulting. We were 11 adults and two children, aged 10 and 6. You can check the CCTV. I can share pictures of the bedsheets and towels so you can see the hygiene issue. Edited to respond to the reply below, since I can’t add another comment. This is what I already described: you agreed at reception, after we arrived, that the traveller could park and that you’d pay the Devaswm parking fee. That wasn’t an agreement over the phone. I also mentioned the hygiene problems and can share the photos.

The rooms are neat, room service is quite good, and the rate is affordable. Guruvayur Temple is easy to get to from here, which made the stay convenient. A comfortable budget option in Guruvayur, recommended if you want a clean place.

I booked five rooms for my family through Booking.com. Both Guruvayoor and Mammiyoor temples are nearby, and the junction location makes it easy to reach the facilities you need. They helped when I asked for hot water for my child in the evening, which was really useful, and there’s a lift. Overall it was a pleasant stay, though the bed linens need better upkeep.
