Nakshatra Emerald Inn

Rats around the room made us very uncomfortable. For us, sharing space with rats was completely unacceptable. The room itself was neat, but poor service, no food, misleading information, and the distance from the temple made the stay very disappointing. It felt much farther from the temple than we expected, and staff gave us no proper guidance about where to eat. We felt misled about the price, too. When we asked why the rate was so high, staff said the swimming pool was included. But when our children asked to use it at night, they were stopped and told they couldn’t go in. Whenever we asked for help, staff were unprofessional, and management didn’t seem interested in sorting out any problems. As parents, we didn’t feel the hotel was safe or comfortable for couples or families. The atmosphere and the way people behaved left us uneasy throughout. We regretted choosing Nakshatra Emerald and wouldn’t recommend it based on our experience.

The only thing keeping this from a 5/5 for me is breakfast. We had to go out and look for it in the morning, which was a bit disappointing. Please let me know when the restaurant opens and I can raise my rating straight away. Otherwise, no complaints: the rooms were spacious and tidy, the staff were friendly and professional, and there was plenty of parking.

My parents spent two nights here earlier this week and really enjoyed it. The staff looked after them well, and the service was impeccable. Their room was very clean too. Being right by the temple made it easy for them to plan their visits. They'd happily stay here again.

We finished our darshan within an hour, thanks to the hotel's location just a five-minute walk from Guruvayurappan temple. It's a great fit for families or couples, and I'd strongly recommend it for a comfortable stay. Try contacting the hotel directly for a better deal than booking online.
