Hotel Gateway Grandeur

Our room was immaculate, spacious, and very comfortable, and the staff were wonderfully attentive. They made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. The dining had a great variety of delicious options. We had a wonderful, luxurious stay and highly recommend it.

Hotel Gateway Grandeur was a pleasant surprise. I’ve traveled through many countries and usually stay with the Marriott chain in the USA, so I was impressed to find this hidden gem in the heart of Guwahati. My room was clean and great, and the restaurant served tasty breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The front desk, door security, and restaurant staff were all courteous and professional. I really enjoyed the stay and will come back.

The food was delicious, and the prices felt surprisingly affordable for the quality. I had a great time here. The hotel is on the main road, so getting around was convenient, and I liked how clean, well kept, and nicely designed it was. The staff were warm and friendly, and room service responded quickly whenever I called. I’d definitely recommend it.

The food and atmosphere were the best parts for me. Dinner at the buffet was delicious, and the staff there were polite and attentive. Breakfast tasted good too, though the service felt disorganized. The hotel has a bar, coffee shop, and restaurant, and a beautiful temple nearby adds to the location. There’s also a lively market close by, and the hotel often hosts parties, meetings, and weddings. I stayed for two days, once at the start and again at the end of my trip. The stylish interiors made a good first impression, but check-in was disappointing: the two female receptionists seemed unprepared, and one was rather rude. We were tired from traveling too, which contributed to a heated exchange. The room was neat and clean, but service fell short, with no complimentary water bottles or hair dryer. In the end, it was an average stay, with nice ambience and good food but inconsistent service. Enjoy your holidays!
