Hotel Om Regency

The owner was especially warm and welcoming, and the staff were courteous and helpful too. It made the stay feel very pleasant. The hotel works well for families, and the rate is fixed at ₹1000 per person, including a complimentary vegetarian breakfast and dinner.

The rooms and toilet were very dirty, and the bedsheets and curtains weren't clean either. There was even a mouse in our room. The location deserves a star, as do the staff, who did try their best to help, but otherwise we had a bad experience.

The food was delicious and good quality, and you could have as much as you wanted. It was frustrating, though, that people wasted food even though the dining area said waste would be charged for. They weren't actually checking. The rooms and toilet were clean, hot water was always available, and the air conditioner worked well. The cleaning staff were attentive, and Receptionist Mansi and staff Edwin were friendly and polite. I had been unsure after reading the Google reviews, and the few hotels I visited near kamakhya temple didn't appeal to me. I planned to stay at Hotel Om Regency for one day, but the staff and ambience kept me there for four. If I visit Kamakhya temple again, I'd stay at Hotel Om Regency.

Breakfast was awful, and the buffet food wasn't properly cooked. I even found an insect in the curd, but the staff seemed completely unconcerned. The rooms were filthy and smelled bad, the tap water was dirty, and there wasn't a dental kit. The staff were very incompetent. Worst place.
