Hotel Pragati Manor

The location is nice and the staff behaved well, but the property is old and needs renovation soon. You have to ask repeatedly for basic things. Breakfast is very basic, and the quality wasn’t very good. Some plug points in the room don’t work properly. Even small improvements could make a real difference.

My stay was disappointing. The hotel had hygiene and maintenance problems, including ACs and geysers that weren’t working, and the staff were unresponsive. At dinner, nobody took our order during the stated hours. Then we were told to order from outside because the restaurant had supposedly closed. Service and maintenance need immediate improvement.

We booked this hotel for a wedding function, with one room included and another booked separately. The room was miserable, tiny and poorly lit, yet cost 5k. It felt worth 2k or less. There’s no big lawn, swimming pool or proper room service to justify charging like a large resort. The washroom had none of the essentials, and nobody came despite our repeated calls to room service. It was disgusting. They also charged a lot per plate, and the manager was rude. Please don’t hold your function here. It’s a waste of money, and there are much better options elsewhere.

A lovely place for a family get-together or birthday party. I had a great time here with family and friends. The food was delicious, service was excellent, and the ambience was nice. We really enjoyed it.
