Hotel Rajendra Residency

The rooms and bathroom were clean, tidy, sanitized, and fresh, and I was comfortable during my 2 day stay. I was pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome from a boy when I arrived, and the staff were polite and well mannered. It’s on the roadside, surrounded by a big market area, and only 10 mins from the train station. I’d choose this hotel again. One thing should change, though: please give guests free water instead of charging for it.

I expected there was a chance of being disappointed when I booked, but I wanted a wide ranging experience in the country. My main reason for choosing this place was to be within walking distance of the Fancy Bazaar area. The front desk was initially kind and helpful, but then went back on the agreement to charge half price for a few extra hours on day teo because of my late flight. The final charge wasn’t the agreed price. Don’t expect much here. The noise is something to keep in mind too. A nearby mosque has a 2:30 am prayer time, and it woke me from a deep sleep. The photos attached show how unclean the place was and the need for better cleaning and maintenance. I don’t like leaving poor reviews, but the product and service weren’t good. On the positive side, they booked out Uber.

The rooms worked well for two people, and they didn’t disappoint us, though I was a little skeptical at first. I didn’t like that they don’t clean the room every day. Otherwise, everything was fine. Thanks for the service.

The manager, Mr. Subadeep, was the best I’ve come across, so supportive and a big reason our northeast tour was so memorable. The staff were all so good. This is one of the finest hotels I’ve stayed in, and we’ll recommend hotel rajendra residency to our friends and family. Special thanks to Mr. Subadeep bhowmik.
