The place seemed old and poorly maintained. The AC didn’t work, the bathroom door wouldn’t operate, and there were cockroaches all over the room and bathroom. Terrible stay. A 1000 rupee room is far better than this.

The bathroom had nowhere to hang a towel, and it smelled horrible when we showered. The rooms smelled of cigarettes, the pillows were awful, and there was fungus throughout the room and on the ceiling. They only have window ACs, no split units. This place needs to improve its service. Hospitality is what a hotel business is about, and I hope this helps other travellers. I’d never recommend staying here. Worst place.
The price is fairly reasonable, and you can pay by UPI or card or book through different apps. It’s in a prime spot, not far from Guwahati Station, the markets, or Kamakhya temple. The rooms were clean and the room service was good. The property is old and needs proper maintenance, though, and the telephone didn’t work.
The location is the one good thing here. The rooms were shabby and damp for the high price. We ordered coffee and it came in a metal kettle that smelled awful. The staff also behaved very rudely and weren’t courteous. I wouldn’t recommend this for a family trip.
I booked an executive room, but what I got looked like an ordinary 500 rupee room. It wasn’t maintained well: there were no lights, no bathroom hanger for clothes, and the bedroll and old-looking pillows were in poor condition. The room also had a constant cigarette smell. The in-house restaurant food didn’t taste good. I wouldn’t use the towels or water glasses they provide.
