OYO 13288 Hotel Rajashree Inn

At 1 a.m., the hotel we’d already paid for refused to check us in. We were two women with nowhere to go and a limited budget, so we felt helpless and went here. The staff were asleep, but they opened the door and kindly helped us arrange a place to stay at a manageable cost. The owner was polite, well spoken, cooperative, and helpful. I’d definitely recommend this place.

They gave me one price at check-in, which I immediately paid in cash, then charged me a much higher amount again when I checked out. When I asked why, the staff wouldn’t cooperate and shouted loudly and rudely. This hotel scams people openly.

The rooms were clean and tidy, and the hotel is very close to the airport. Mr Raj Sharma, the daytime manager, was cooperative and behaved very well. Five stars for him. The night manager, who says he has a long background in the airline industry, was rude and avoided responsibility. Service was very poor while he was in charge, and it took over an hour to get water in the room. There’s no lift, so checking in or out at night means dealing with staff who get high handed if you wake them to carry your luggage.

The location is the only thing this hotel has going for it. The bathrooms are dirty and cramped, the service is terrible, and the staff behave very poorly. It’s a waste of money, and you’d be better off booking somewhere with more facilities. A very bad hotel.
