OYO Flagship 14912 Silpukhari Bus Stop

The dining room was unbelievably dirty and didn’t even have a spoon. Our room and bathroom were filthy, and the linen and pillow were dirty too. When I asked for replacements, they said I’d have to wait until the next morning. There was no body shower gel, and despite asking for soap and a towel again and again, nobody brought them. We had to call staff three or four times, and they were pathetic and unprofessional. Check-in was very slow as well. The property isn’t being maintained.

The room itself was great, and the complimentary breakfast was served well. But the sheets seemed used, the room smelled foul, and dinner came on a cracked plate, though they changed it later. Check-in was the worst I’ve had after many hotel stays in different places. I arrived at 5 in the evening and the room wasn’t ready. I was exhausted from a long journey, but the receptionist rudely told me to wait in the lobby without any welcome. After 20 minutes he asked me to pay before showing me the room. I’d paid through Oyo online, but he said he hadn’t received it, so I waited another 20 minutes.

The only thing I liked was that the room was spacious. The bathroom window in Room No. 308 had a broken glass panel, so people outside could see in while someone was bathing. When I reported it, staff offered a piece of towel to cover the gap instead of fixing it or giving me another room. Room service was poor too, the person who came had no sense of hospitality and didn’t know how to respond. The ceiling lamps blinked, possibly from wiring faults, and there were lots of mosquitoes. Food choices were almost nonexistent, with a menu of only two and a half pages, and the prices were too high for the quantity and quality. Staff made noise talking across my room, so I had a disturbing night. This was the worst stay I’ve had at any OYO so far. I won’t stay here again or suggest it to friends or family. The staff and management need to improve. Thank you.

The rooms are clean and big, but the staff aren’t professional, even if this may be a flagship hotel. You have to ask several times to get anything done, and even then it’s not clear they’ll do it. The TV doesn’t work, and there’s no AC remote in every room. They provide handwash liquid, but no soap, moisturizer, or shampoo.
