Hotel Famous

Getting around was easy since the hotel is a short walk from the railway station and close to public transport. My room and bathroom were clean, and the staff were courteous and helpful. It felt like good value for the price. There are a couple of things to know: it's on the second floor, reached by narrow stairs, with no lift, so it may be difficult for people with mobility issues. There's no kitchen in the hotel either, so you'll need to order food or eat elsewhere.

Small shops, places to eat, and rickshaws are easy to find right outside, and the station is very close. The room was spacious and neat, and the receptionist was courteous and very helpful. It felt like good value, and I'd stay at the same hotel next time. The main drawback for older guests is climbing two floors to get there.

The room was okay, and both the bedsheets and bathroom were clean. But the hotel is on the second floor, up very cramped stairs that were difficult to manage with a suitcase. We had to ask reception for help carrying our luggage, and they sent someone.

The staff were friendly, and the service was good. We had two rooms for three and four people; the beds were comfortable, though the rooms felt small for what we paid. The hotel is centrally located, close to everything, and within walking distance of Haridwar railway station. When we asked people for directions on the way from the station, three out of five knew the hotel. The stairs are extremely narrow and there's no lift, which could be a problem for older people. It's a budget friendly place with good service.
