Right in front of Haridwar railway station, but the room wasn't clean, as the attached photo shows. The Dish TV didn't work even after I complained, and the water jug was empty at check-in. Room service hadn't filled it. The geyser wiring was exposed. I'd only suggest it for a business trip and a single night, not for families.

The washrooms were worse than public toilets. I've never seen a room this bad. A Dharamshala would be better, and when I raised it, the answer was basically, 'It's a little like this.'

A mouse was already in my room, and the rooms didn't seem hygienic or good. I'm really disappointed. They should clean the room before giving it to customers. We had a very bad experience there.

For a pilgrimage trip, Kailash Hotel is a peaceful, budget-friendly place, and Har Ki Pauri is close enough to visit Ganga Aarti easily. Mansa Devi Temple, Chandi Devi Temple, Bharat Mata Mandir, and Sapt Rishi Ashram are nearby too. The food was a real highlight for me as a Gujarati. They offer unlimited Gujarati meals that taste like home, simple, fresh, and tasty. The hotel isn't fancy, but my stay was really nice, and it was clean and comfortable.

The filthy smell lasted throughout the stay, and there wasn't proper food to eat. The room phone and TV didn't work, while the rooms and washrooms were dirty. Pillows and bedsheets were unhygienic, and the washroom hadn't been cleaned. The charges were too high. Very disappointing, wouldn't recommend it.
