Being able to take a dip in Ganges within the hotel grounds was a real highlight. Chains and steps lead into the water, and the swimming area is fenced off, private, clean, and safe. The current can be very strong, but the fence and rope made me feel safe from being swept away. The ambience was lovely, and everyone on staff was so friendly. Anshika, Abhishek, Priya & Sanjit especially stood out, and I hope they get the recognition they deserve. The other staff were amazing too. This was the best hotel experience I’ve ever had. We stopped for lunch at the terrace restaurant but didn’t stay at the hotel. The food, service, and ambience were excellent. We were surprised to find a minimum charge per person that wasn’t mentioned anywhere or explained when we ordered. We ended up paying Rs. 2000 extra to meet the requirement. If we’d known, we could have ordered more to try different dishes. The extra Rs 2000 wasn’t a big deal, but they could have communicated the charge better.

Two nights at Pilibhit House changed me in some way. It felt like more than a stay, an experience that reinvigorates and celebrates you. I celebrated my 50th milestone there, and couldn’t have imagined a better place for it. The rooms face the river with the Ganges flowing alongside, mornings have soothing flute music, and evenings bring bhajans and aarti at their exclusive ghat. Inside, the calm and comfort feel like being at home. The employees are remarkable, helpful and considerate, while also giving guests space. The vegetarian food was so well cooked that even the non-vegetarian eaters enjoyed it. Chef Dubey and his crew deserve special mention for their zeal and skill. Highlights included the spa, an in-house pooja, a cocktail workshop, and being able to take a warm shower right after a dip in the Ganga. Dinner music made the evenings feel joyful and full of togetherness. Thumbs up if you’re looking for soulful luxury and genuine hospitality.

Mr Sanjay, the restaurant floor manager, coordinated everything really nicely, and Harshit was such a lovely person while serving us. The food tasted excellent, and the presentation deserves praise too. It’s a lovely place to spend an evening with people you love. I loved everything, and they made our evening🌺. If you’re in Haridwar, it’s a must visit.
