At snow leapord, Manzoor uncle was really caring and the food was simple, delicious, and homely. The warm, welcoming atmosphere made the stay feel just like home. A comfortable place with lovely hospitality. Highly recommend.

Mansoor uncle and his wife Jill were caring hosts, and they even took us on a beautiful walking tour of Srinagar. Mansoor uncle answered all our questions, shared his amazing music collection and stunning photos from his treks, and turned out to be an outstanding chef. Their homestay has spacious, spotless rooms and all the amenities we needed to feel comfortable. The whole stay felt warm and welcoming. For travellers after an authentic, homely experience in Srinagar, Snow Leopard is a perfect choice. Hope to visit again!

Manzoor looked after all our needs so attentively and brought us complimentary tea every day. We ate with him on our last evening, and he cooked delicious Kashmir cuisine at a reasonable price. The property is in the heart of Srinagar, with the Dal lake about 6-7 km away and a market road nearby for basic supplies. There’s parking for two cars as well. Manzoor was extremely friendly, and we had a very comfortable, lovely stay. I highly recommend it.

Manzoor arranged an 11 day trip into Ladakh for me, handling the driver and transport, accommodation, sightseeing, and trekking. He has great contacts, and the driver he engaged was very safe and put my safety first. I visited Leh, Nubra Valley, Pangong Lake, and the Suru Valley, then returned to Snow Leopard Lodge. Manzoor took the stress out of planning it all. After I got back, he also took me on day hikes, sharing local knowledge and showing me things I’d never have experienced alone. This was my second stay with Manzoor, and I was 100% happy with the whole experience. The Lodge is very clean and comfortable. My huge bedroom was bright and airy, with an attached sitting area, and the bathroom was spotless and private. It’s in a quiet area, so I slept well every night. From my room I could see the garden, mountains, and village, a beautiful, relaxing view. The village is easy to reach from Srinagar by Sumo, bus, or taxi, and as a solo traveller I felt 100% safe the whole time. I enjoyed downtime in the lovely garden, and had breakfast and dinner with Manzoor. He’s a fantastic cook who uses fresh ingredients and introduced me to some delicious meals. I had the perfect time, Manzoor was the perfect host, and Snow Leopard Lodge was the perfect place to enjoy Srinagar.
