Supriya Lodge by OYO Rooms

There’s a liquor shop on the ground floor, and after it closes, people come upstairs to rent vacant rooms and drink. I wouldn’t bring women along. The beds smelled, the toilets were only partly cleaned, and there were no bins or bathroom buckets. The price is very low, and there’s a reason for that. A terrible experience.

The bathroom felt cramped, and the hygiene wasn’t good even though the room itself was nice. The sheets and blankets had a bad smell, so we couldn’t pull them over our heads.

The location is handy, but arriving at 11 pm with a family room booked and being told none were available was stressful. They gave us two rooms instead, since the children needed to be kept separately. The second room wasn’t very clean, and we could hear a lot of noise from the attached building. Privacy wasn’t good either, and there wasn’t enough hot water. We left at 9 am after just one night, so didn’t make much of it. P.S. The owner asked me to explain the 3-star rating.

We booked two rooms through OYO for four people, but even after we showed the receipt, the receptionist kept asking whether we had paid. The first room smelled awful, the toilet hadn’t been cleaned or flushed, and we were told nobody could help at that time. Both rooms had dirty, used sheets. In the second room, two of us had to sleep on the floor, and the damp bedding made it hard for any of us to sleep. We lost our money and went into the next day’s journey without proper rest. Easily the worst hotel experience I’ve had. Avoid it.
