The biggest concern was the water. We asked for hot drinking water three times and were brought dirty, unfiltered water each time. When we raised it, we learned there wasn't even a filter at the hotel, so we worried the same water was being used for cooking. We'd been traveling for 10 days and had good service at other 3-star places, even remote cottages by Pangong Lake. This stay at the end of April 2026 was a huge letdown and didn't feel like a 3-star property. Our agency had booked three rooms 20 days ahead, but on arrival the manager said there was no confirmation and simply told us to call the agency, without trying to sort it out. There were no kettles in the rooms, no battery or generator backup, no Wi-Fi, disrupted water supply, and no hot water. These are basic needs. With the management problems, power limitations, and water quality, I wouldn't stay here. It felt like a risk to our health.
