Abinand Grand Hotel

We held our baby's cradle ceremony at Abhinandan Grand, and the preparations were ready on time apart from one small, forgivable glitch. The place was clean, well maintained, and equipped for the event, with a pleasant ambience and well behaved staff. The food tasted good overall, though the mutton in the mutton biryani wasn't cooked well enough for a five star rating. I'd recommend it for small get togethers.

Parking is the one issue, since the hotel is right on the main road. If they improve that, this would be a great place. The ambience is nice, the food is good, and there are tasty North Indian and South Indian dishes, including a good breakfast buffet. It's a nice hotel for this area.

The food was okay, but I saw rats moving around the restaurant. When I raised it with management, they just smiled, which didn't feel like an acceptable response. If rats are in the dining hall, I worry there could be many in restricted areas like the kitchen too. With the amount customers pay in bills, the restaurant should be better maintained.

The booking details weren't fully explained at check-in. We were told breakfast was complimentary, but when we checked out two days later, they said it wasn't. The room only had a fridge tucked away, despite the online listing saying there'd be a coffee/tea maker. They also didn't clean the rooms every day, and the rooms themselves were bad. Food was pricey for the small portions. There are many better hotels in the area.
