Capital O 10598 Sunrise Castle

The breakfast was tasty and had a good range of choices. Rooms are spacious, with wardrobes and effective AC, and they keep them very clean. The staff were polite, helpful, and cooperative. A really lovely hotel, and one of my best Oyo stays so far.

It’s basically PG accommodation, but the stay was decent. Two things bothered me. Lunch was expensive, 150 for just rice and dhal. The WiFi is shared and seems to run out early in the month, so by month end the speed is like 2G.

I paid for an OYO booking in advance, but when I arrived, the receptionist, "Ashok Babu," told me to cancel it and pay him directly so he could book the room for me. I refused since my reservation was confirmed and already paid. He then said he wouldn’t give me a room at the price I’d paid OYO and that I should cancel if I wanted. I told him it wasn’t fair and that I’d report it. He said I could contact OYO or anyone else, he didn’t care. Then he came within about two inches of my face and yelled. I called OYO right away to report his extremely rude behavior and cancelled the booking. A horrible experience with management, and I’ll never book this hotel again.

The staff weren’t friendly, and the room door was transparent. They charged for water bottles. There was only one towel for two guests, with staff saying no more were available.
