Hill View Guest Houses - Begumpet

This place isn't a real hotel. When we got there, they showed us a different hotel, and the place wasn't good or worth the money. Don't trust the photos and book this, you'll get burned.

The staff and the person in charge were kind, courteous, and available around the clock. Food service was excellent too. There's a kitchen downstairs that brings meals to your room. I was travelling alone and stayed alert, but I felt safe. If you find a better OYO deal, take it. I booked a deluxe room for two nights because it was very close to the US consulate. The total was 5023 including GST, but the room was small and nowhere near deluxe. Almost all the bathroom fixtures were broken. I also noticed a hole near the TV's buttons on one side of the frame. At first it looked like a camera, so I complained strongly. They said a button was broken, and I covered the hole later. If anything seems unusual, complain about it, especially if you're a woman travelling alone.

The hotel name didn't match the website, and it took me a long time to find the place. The bathroom was in terrible condition, the room was dusty and not clean, and they gave us used sheets and a blanket. There wasn't even a bulb in the bathroom, and neither the AC nor the TV worked. I booked Fab Gate express Hotel near Begumpet Railway station and had a very bad experience. When I asked the boy there for help, he couldn't provide anything, so I was stuck after already paying. Please be careful booking this kind of hotel, and don't waste your money.

Breakfast was disappointing too. One day we got two sada dosas, the next an onion uttapam, with no tea or coffee. You have to remind them before they'll serve it. The rooms were a huge letdown. There were so many mosquitoes in the toilet that I changed rooms, but the replacement was only a little better. The staff seemed lethargic and were all busy on their phones. I came because Fab Hotels was attached to the name. Think twice before staying here.
