Location is convenient for getting to major parts of Hyderabad, and the staff were courteous and quick, especially with check-in and room service. The rooms at Hotel Tara International are clean, spacious, well maintained, and have good amenities. A few rooms may need working AC, and having a window with curtains directly behind the bed isn't a good setup. Still, it's good value and was hassle-free. I'd stay again. Think twice about cheap hotels near charminar, they have bed bugs.
I booked through Agoda about a month ahead for six adults and two children over Christmas, for two nights and three days. After booking, I called the hotel to confirm, and they assured me it was correct. But when I called again to finalize travel plans, they suddenly said only one person was allowed per room. Agoda clearly described the rooms as Classic Double or Twin, as shown in the attached screenshot. That's misleading. If I hadn't called, we could have had serious problems on arrival. Making last-minute changes without notice is unacceptable and suggests poor management or deliberate misrepresentation. Be cautious when booking this property.
The location is very good and the services were good too. Some rooms, though, are really dirty and need to be kept cleaner.
Everything else was great, and the service was very good. We were let down when we relied on the hotel manager for an outside service, like arranging a vehicle for a charge. I wouldn't trust the manager with that. Otherwise, it was all good.
They showed me three rooms and I picked one. The toilets were sanitized, and the receptionist helped carry the bags upstairs and provided service. A very good place to stay, with underground parking as well.
