Hyderabad Elite by OYO Rooms

This was the worst Oyo room I've booked. It was dirty, the toilet stank, and the old-looking sheets and bedspread were filthy. They hadn't provided an AC remote, and the cooling was so strong that I had to ask them to turn it off and use the fan instead. The wall paint was peeling, with fungus around it. I somehow made it through one night. Getting around was difficult too, since cabs were hardly available.

Nothing was clean, and the room didn't look like the pictures. The price was too high compared with other hotels, and I wasn't comfortable with the service. The water bottles they sell cost more than the MRP.

The rates are budget-friendly, and you do get AC, a TV, and parking. But the cabins are partitioned, the hygiene was average, and the sheets and floors were dirty, so it didn’t feel safe enough for couples. Visitors aren’t allowed at all.

The rooms and room service were only 2 out of 5. When booking through Oyo, they demanded 1500 before check-in, no matter what price Oyo showed. When we went as a couple, the staff spoke as if it was up to them whether we could check in, saying, “Your need. If you want check-in or not isn’t your wish!!!”
