The atrium made a nicer first impression than the room, and we found dining options in the surrounding area despite what some reviews say. We ate dinner at the hotel's restaurant and enjoyed it, though it wasn't especially memorable. Breakfast was Indian-style, with a modest but sufficient selection, and everything we tried tasted good. We stayed in Premier Room (304) in mid-March 2026. It was spacious, which we appreciated, but basic and underwhelming for the price and its “Premier” category. The hotel seems past its best and would benefit from renovation. The design and furniture feel dated. Cleanliness was mixed, with visible imperfections, though the floor was clean, better than in many other places in India. The bathroom had instant hot water, and the toiletries were a pleasant surprise, especially the great-smelling soap. Wi-Fi was very slow and unreliable. Despite the name, this hotel isn't part of the international Royalton chain, so adjust expectations. It's decent if you focus on the basics and don't expect much luxury, but for the price and room category, we expected better maintenance and overall condition.

The bathroom shower had mould, and there was no spare toilet paper. The room was missing basics like a tissue box and dental kits, with only one kit for two people. The Wi-Fi didn't work despite the promises, and valet parking was inefficient, with no driver available when needed. Breakfast was average. I recently stayed at Royalton Hotel Hyderabad, and the facilities were disappointing. The experience didn't justify the cost. I hope they address these problems to improve guest satisfaction.

The location is very good, and the breakfast was very good as well. Service staff were courteous and responsive, and reception handled things efficiently. I stayed for four nights. The rooms were good, though the bathroom fittings, including the shower and taps, are a bit old and could definitely be renovated for a better experience. Overall, it was good, but management could invest in making it the best. I hope they pay the service staff well too. They don't seem passionate about the hotel, mostly just service-oriented with customers.

The lobby is well kept and upgraded, but the rooms badly need refurbishment. They're spacious, and although the shower looked grim, it was excellent. Packaged bottled water was provided. Food is average. It was probably an upmarket hotel once. It's still not a bad choice for a stay in Hyderabad, but it could be better.

Dinesh, the Steward at the family restaurant, was rowdy and used abusive language when we settled the dinner bill through dine out. He refused to accept the bill and demanded 20% more. We settled it. Royalton is listed on dine out, so this was a big shame and disgrace, and disrespectful to customers. We will never visit again. We openly say this is the worst hotel in the hospitality sector, with staff ready to use abusive language and raise their voices. Hyderabad hotel goers should boycott it until the owners and staff mend their ways. We are filing a complaint with consumer affairs.
