OYO 68404 Sa Thirumala Residency

My family and I stayed from 3:30 pm on 7th April 2023 until 9 am on 8th April 2023, and it was a thoroughly frustrating experience. The room was unclean, dusty and unhygienic, despite the low price. There was no hot water, and the A/c blew so much dust that it was unusable. The staff were arrogant and uncooperative, with no courtesy, which left us thinking the hotel wasn't interested in doing business. Why is OYO affiliating with hotels like this and risking its own reputation? I wouldn't recommend anyone choose this place just because of the low price.

There was construction next to the hotel, and the noise disturbed our sleep. The room also had an uncomfortable bed with damaged springs, stained sheets and blankets, broken furniture, and a bathroom with dirty buckets and a mug. The toilet door wouldn't close properly, and the bathroom was worse than a public toilet. The A/C was fixed at 27 °C and its remote didn't work. The TV seemed to be there for show. There was no free water bottle or toiletries as OYO promises. The room hadn't been sanitized either, despite OYO's claims about sanitizing rooms for guests. When I arrived, the receptionist first asked me to cancel the OYO booking so he could offer a discount. The photos on OYO are misleading, so don't get fooled. This isn't a good choice for families. OYO should check hotel standards with random inspections.

The room was neat and clean, and the staff were really friendly. I was happy to visit and would come back next time. It's a great place to spend time, the price for 24 hours is reasonable, and I'd advise everyone to visit at least once. A great spot for couples too.

After being thoroughly disappointed, I left the booking for two rooms behind, even though I had paid in full, and moved to another nearby hotel. The rooms were dusty and bare, with only a bed and no furniture, not even a little table for a phone or watch. The sheets seemed dirty and already used. Getting there was difficult: the hotel is down a small, narrow, dirty lane off another small lane, with no signboards on the main roads, and cars can't reach it. We had to carry our bags from where the taxi stopped. It seems to be a newly opened hotel. OYO shouldn't have it in its group. I have no idea how it got approved. Absolutely dismal.
