SSR Luxury Rooms

The room was small, and this is a below average hotel. The calling bell and toilet flush didn’t work, and there was no water supply early in the morning. No one answered the phone, so I had to wake them up myself to restart the pump, which had been turned off because there was no water. Construction was happening upstairs at night. Look at the closet photos and you’ll cry. There was no breakfast or refreshments, though you could buy a water bottle at reception. They also failed to provide or clearly explain where this luxury hotel was. A local auto driver called the hotel three times. Think twice before choosing it. You shouldn’t call it a luxury hotel unless that’s your idea of luxury.

I’d been happy with the first week and gave the place five stars. The trouble came on my last day. I’d told reception that morning I needed one more night and would pay in the evening, and the receptionist agreed. I was paying about Rs. 650 a day. Then, while I was at work, they called and said the room wasn’t available and I had to leave right away. When I explained I couldn’t, they demanded Rs. 1800 to let me stay. I had no other option, so I paid. That was extremely unprofessional and made me change my review to two stars.

The two stars are for the service boy, who brought me a bucket of hot water from another room. Otherwise, the bed cover and pillows were dirty, the bathroom geyser didn’t work, and the Wi-Fi was very slow. The TV only had regional channels, and the service landline wasn’t working when I wanted to report the problems. Rooms should be checked before guests are given access. I hope my next stay is better, but this is what I experienced when Google asked.

After checking in, I saw how poor the hotel’s condition was. The linens and bedsheets had dirty blood stains, and the bathrooms were filthy. There was no soap in the rooms, and neither the shower nor the jet worked. I’d read Google reviews before booking through the OYO app. Some were negative, though many seemed okay. The hotel is highly underrated, and OYO didn’t help with the complaint I raised.
