Hotel Grand Parivaar

We spent two days here and had a good stay. The room was clean, and the staff were polite. Room service was prompt when we asked for it. There’s a swimming pool, plenty of parking, and stunning mountain views behind the hotel. The restaurant food was decent too.

From 10th Dec to 13 Dec 2025, we had a peaceful stay. The location is fabulous, with plenty of car parking, a swimming pool, a kids’ play area, and good space for walks. There’s a pure vegetarian restaurant with decent choices at affordable prices from morning until 11 pm. The staff were cooperative, especially Amol, who sits at reception. If you don’t have your own car, you can get a shared auto from the hotel entrance to Igatpuri station.

We had lunch at Hotel Grand Parivar on the Igatpuri highway while passing through. The food was fresh and good quality, though a little too spicy for us. It’s a decent stop for a quick meal on the road.

I’m a regular and have visited many times, so today’s experience was especially upsetting. We waited nearly 30 minutes at reception to ask for a table for seven. I understand it was busy, but the staff ignored our repeated requests. There were tables outside, yet they rudely refused to arrange or set them up and said clearly they wouldn’t do it. The service was pathetic and unprofessional, far below expectations. This is the first time I’ve felt so dissatisfied here.
