The spacious rooms look out onto scenic mountains and greenery. We booked at the last minute and were very satisfied. We enjoyed the water park and had a happy stay.

This review is about our stay a couple of years ago, and it spoiled the trip. We booked four days and there was no luxury at all. The small indoor water park was the one saving grace, and my child enjoyed it thoroughly. But they kept the water level too low, so several of us got hurt hitting the bottom instead of floating, and it was always crowded. Food was okay, service was pathetic. Nobody bothered to clean or collect the used dishes left outside our room. The location is amazing, though. We enjoyed sunrise and sunset with the sound of trains, and the nice front garden had lots of swings that we all enjoyed.

The two days went by in a blink, but we left with lots of memories. Our group of 25 had a great time in the dorm rooms, and the crowd was decent. Lunch had a tasty mix of Indian food, then fast food at dinner, so we were full all day. We also enjoyed the water park and the DJ night. Thanks, Shagun resort. Five stars from me.

A mountain view from a resort right by the highway, with Igatpuri railway station nearby. It’s right in the heart of Igatpuri, and one of the best and oldest resorts here.
