Hotel Apple

The reception was arrogant, and the whole night was a terrible experience. The fan and flush didn’t work, the mug and dustbin were broken, the blankets were untidy and the pillow dirty. When I asked for another pillow, they said they had none. They’d told us hot water was available, but there wasn’t any in the cold weather. If ratings went below one star, I’d give that.

The only small consolation at Hotel Apple in Sukhliya was that hot water was available. Everything else made for a miserable stay. The rooms felt unwelcoming, with little natural light and an unkempt exterior, and towels arrived late. There was no dental kit, and they charged for a toothbrush. TVs varied from room to room, with some smart and some not. Staff attitude was the biggest issue. They were rude and unhelpful, dismissing a request for a matchbox and being difficult about room service. Food orders became confusing, with reception and restaurant staff blaming each other. They wouldn’t bring room service or cutlery, so guests had to eat in the restaurant. The poor amenities, neglected rooms, and discourteous service make this a hotel I’d avoid. The online impression doesn’t match what the stay was like, so it’s worth judging the place and staff in person before booking.

The rooms were clean, and the AC rooms with TV and high-speed WiFi were good. Staff were helpful and the service was nice. Parking was the one problem.

Really liked the hospitality and service here. The rooms are comfortable, and the room service and food were good too.
