We went back to Crown Palace Restaurant after a long gap, hoping the food had improved after hearing it was better again. It had once been an OG Place in Indore for authentic North Indian food, though quality had dipped for a while. The starters were good, especially the Paneer Tikka and Kebabs. The main dish our server recommended, something like a Chicken Rogan-style gravy, was another story: it was extremely spicy, had little real flavor, and none of us could eat it. We told the staff politely and asked them to take it back, but they still kept it on the bill despite us not having eaten it. That felt like poor hospitality and a rigid response to feedback, and we didn't appreciate the service or their approach. Sadly, this visit earns the place 2 stars.

There are plenty of dishes to choose from, and the food tastes really good. Prices are reasonable, so it works well for a family meal or a casual bite. The atmosphere is pleasant and comfortable, making it a nice spot to dine.

The bar on the open floor doesn't feel comfortable for families. Service was pathetic, the captain was rude, and the food's taste wasn't up to the mark. After coming back to the restaurant after many days, I found a complete turnaround in both service and taste, for the worse.

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Crown Palace. The room was comfortable, and the room-service food was lovely too. Five of us couldn't finish two portions of the non-veg kebab platter; it was hearty and filling. I also had the best mutton handi biryani of my life there, along with a refreshing fresh lime soda. The gentleman serving us was so sweet. He brought our many food orders over four or five times, always warm and smiling.
