Hotel The Bellevue

The shower didn't work, and instead of fixing it or replacing it, the hotel told us to use a bucket. The Wi-Fi was down too, and they expected us to move rooms after we'd unpacked. The hotel is old, and its rates are very high for what it offers. The online photos are all fake, and the staff were rude and untrained. They started calling us repeatedly about checkout 45 minutes before it was due. The place and service were pathetic. I'd urge people to find another hotel because this one isn't worth it.

There was nobody to help with our luggage, so we had to carry it to the rooms ourselves. The hotel doesn't have its own kitchen, either, and gets breakfast from somewhere else. We found broken room locks, but when we asked to change rooms, they refused and made us stay in one with a faulty lock. The pictures online are fake. With just one employee handling reception and room service across the whole hotel, the service was pathetic. Worst experience.

The rooms were decent and made for a comfortable stay, and the location just behind Radisson Blu was very convenient, especially for office travel. The service was good too. Raj Inglr deserves special mention for giving us a few extra hours at no added cost.

Even for one night, this place was full of things that made me regret booking it: cockroaches, rats running around in the ceiling all night, and broken items like the remote, AC, kettle, and cups. It's an old, shabby hotel that isn't maintained, as if the owner is just letting it run until deciding to tear it down without spending on repairs. Please book somewhere else at this price, or raise your budget a little. I trusted the positive reviews and regretted it. The bad reviews are the real ones.
