OYO Flagship 30861 Hotel Velocity Vijay Nagar

The hotel is easy to find in Sector 114 near Vijay Nagar, Indore, MP, India, with proper roads leading to it. It has modern facilities at a reasonable price, and the staff and CCTV keep an eye on vehicles parked on the roadside in front, since there’s no dedicated parking. There’s no lift, which could be a problem for older people or anyone with a serious illness. The hotel doesn’t provide refreshments or meals, though it’s easy to find and reach through Google Maps.

I lost time and money, and had a very bad experience in Indore, which was new to me. I booked through OYO at 400 per day and paid 30% as the booking fee. When I arrived at 6 o’clock in the evening, the manager refused to give me a room at the OYO price and demanded 1190 per day instead. This happened to many guests too. Please be careful when booking this hotel through OYO.

I wish I’d arrived earlier, so I could have decided not to stay. The room had cigarette butts, bottles, caps, spider webs and pan masala stains. It was the most untidy hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Never go here.

I’d paid the full amount online when I booked through goibibo, but when we arrived around 11.30pm, the hotel refused check-in unless I paid another 1000Rs. We asked the receptionist several times, but they wouldn’t listen. It was late and we had kids with us, so we couldn’t go elsewhere. I paid the extra 1000rs to get in. The hotel cheated us and took more money.
