Shivram Hotel by OYO Rooms

I felt cheated. I booked online, but when I arrived to check in, the staff refused to honor that price and demanded more money. I complained, but they still wouldn’t accept it. The staff were very rude. He also told me the hotel wasn’t registered with any online booking website or app. Please avoid this fraudulent hotel.

We brought a medium-sized dog, and the receptionist spoke with the manager, who spent at least 20 minutes asking around seven questions about the dog through the receptionist. We answered everything positively, but they still turned us down. They said it was the first time they’d had a request like this. We hadn’t had any negative experience, yet they chose to reject us.

The rooms aren’t well maintained, and the service was awful. They refused to give me a room just because my girlfriend is non-Muslim. How old-fashioned. OYO should look into how couples from different religions are treated. Everyone has freedom and rights. Worst hotel.

The hotel is in a quiet place and the staff are good. It’s about 6 km from Madan Mahal station and around 8 km from Jabalpur station, but there’s no nearby market since it’s quite far out. You’ll need a food delivery service for meals. There’s no TV and the rooms are quite small, but they’re clean. You can get hot water in winter. For a 1-2 day budget stay, it’s good. You could give it a try.
