Hotel Poonam by OYO Rooms

Room 109 was filthy, and the washroom was just as bad, with no flush, basin, or gun shower. They promised free WiFi when we booked, but there wasn't any. They also reuse bottles labeled Bisleri and fill them with dirty drain water. The Sikh man spoke rudely, and at 2 a.m. children staying there were running around like Monjulikqa without anyone warning them. Very bad, the worst.

For what it costs, the service really needs to improve. It was okay otherwise.

We were eight people split between two rooms, and were charged 200 for two extra mattresses that never arrived. When we asked for that money back at checkout, they refused. One of the rooms we were given also didn't have a proper lock, and they spoke to us rudely.

The rates were much lower than the nearby hotels in jagadalpur, and once we got inside, it was clear why. Don't expect anything better than a third-class dharamshala. If money is really tight, you could try it. I took photos of the reception area toilet to show what it's like.
