A budget option for students or friends travelling together, with reasonably priced AC rooms. Just be sure to check out by noon, since you could be charged for a second day otherwise. There's no hot water.

Hotel Aditya is tucked away like a little find. The location worked well for me, the rooms were clean and cozy, and the staff made us feel welcome. The food was delicious, the service was great, and it felt like good value. I'd recommend it for a comfortable, easy stay.

I was there in January 2024, and the rooms got very cold at night. There was no heating, and with stone floors and thin blankets, it could drop below 10 degrees Celsius. I hadn't prepared well, so I can't blame them for that. The staff didn't seem very used to international guests, and their English was very poor. The hotel is a bit far from the tourist spots. While I was there, Narendra Moody was in town for a conference, and mobile internet was disrupted. Without Google Maps, I struggled to get around. Auto drivers didn't know the way back, so I had to screenshot the route before getting a rickshaw and guide drivers who seemed lost.

The rooms are a decent size, and there's plenty of parking in a good location. But the rooms smelled strongly of smoke and weren't cleaned properly. It also felt like the hotel rented rooms out to people for drinking. The AC and fans were extremely old and noisy, and breakfast only arrived at 9:30 am after I followed up more than ten times. I wouldn't bring my family here.

It's an okay place to stay, but expect to ask for the basics each time. Staff didn't bring water to the room unless I requested it, and the bathrooms weren't very good. The windows were dirty, with dust all over them.
