Hotel Goyal

The way the hotel authority and housekeeping staff treated us was impolite and stubborn. When we complained, a housekeeping worker did a quick sweep, but the toilet still hadn’t been cleaned properly. He curtly said nothing more could be done, so I cleaned it myself to an acceptable standard. We were there for two nights, December 27 and 28, 2025. The rooms, corridors, and stairways were visibly dusty, and the toilet was stained and smelled bad. Think three times before choosing this hotel. It doesn’t meet even a minimum standard.

My family and I stayed for three days, and the room wasn’t cleaned at all during that time. The rooms, beds, and toilets should be kept clean, but the staff were really rude. They need to speak to guests politely and listen to them with good manners.

The washroom was filthy, the corridor was a dirty mess, and the room and bedsheet were dirty too. There was a stink from the laundry, and the staff were rude and completely unprofessional. This was the worst service I’ve ever experienced at a hotel. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

At 9 PM on August 15th, a busy holiday weekend, we arrived with our luggage and found ourselves stranded. I’d booked and prepaid through Goibibo after carefully planning the trip, and I’d even called the property owner to confirm the reservation. But the staff told us without warning that the booking had been canceled, giving a vague and unconvincing reason. Everywhere else nearby was full for the holiday, so we were exhausted, stressed, and left scrambling for somewhere to sleep. I called Goibibo support right away and spent an hour on the phone. They processed a refund but didn’t arrange another place to stay. A refund doesn’t help when you’re left without shelter for the night. It was a callous response that ignored the fear, stress, and serious inconvenience caused by the hotel. Both the property and Goibibo showed a shocking lack of accountability, as if they could leave customers stranded and treat a refund as a solution. This was a deeply disappointing and potentially dangerous experience. The hotel’s actions seemed fraudulent to me, and Goibibo was grossly negligent. I can’t stress this enough: don’t trust this property with a booking, and be very cautious with Goibibo. Their service failed when I needed it most. I strongly advise booking through more reliable platforms that stand by their customers.
