The village outside the restaurant feels a little artificial, like a model village built for tourists, though there's plenty to see and do, including traditional dancing and puppet shows. We had a Royal Thali in a very atmospheric setting with traditional music. I think the food was authentic, and it was quite different from the Indian restaurant food I'm used to. It was intriguing to sample so many vegetarian dishes with bread and rice, with flavors ranging from spicy to mild to sweet. The lassi-like buttermilk drink tasted too sour to me, so I stuck to the bottled water they provided.

The colorful, lively setting gives a nice glimpse of Rajasthani culture, with folk music, village-style decor, and local food. It seems a decent place to visit once for the cultural atmosphere, especially with family. It can get crowded, though, and the food seemed average for the price. There's room to improve.

The whole place felt lively and well maintained, and is great for families, tourists, or anyone wanting a glimpse of Rajasthan's heritage. A must visit for Jaipur tourists. It's a joyful, memorable experience of Rajasthan.
