hotel Jai Palace

I copied and pasted someone else's review, but my experience was exactly the same. I usually don't write reviews, but this had to be said. The rooms in Jai Palace & Restaurant were full of bed bugs. Things in the rooms and washroom were broken, and the restaurant was crawling with cockroaches. The food sold under the names Shyam baba and Agrawal's was awful. Bed bug bites sent me to the hospital with a severe allergy and blood loss, and the food gave one of my family members food poisoning. The staff and service were pathetic. They may charge less and skip giving you a GST bill, but don't fall for it to save a few hundred rupees. It could cost you much more. Don't get caught by the claim that this is a cheap but good hotel near Jaipur railway station. You'll regret it. The lift was so small it couldn't fit more than two people. The washroom windows had broken glass and no curtains, so we had to ask staff to tape newspapers over them. The room curtains didn't fully cover the glass either, which could be a real concern if you're with family and don't notice. The TV didn't work, and toilet seats were broken in almost all rooms. The bed-cum-sofa and the head of the bed were favorite spots for bed bugs. The place looked premium at first glance, but a few hours there made us realize our mistake. Those 3-4 days in Jaipur were hell for me and my family. Other guests have also reported bed bugs, broken items and poor service. Tannu Rathi said the bed was full of bed bugs and wasn't clean, though the location was close. Ankit Mittal advised checking for bed bugs and insects, describing the service and stay as third grade, with the station nearby as the only plus. My Email called it the worst hotel and restaurant and said their family holiday became a nightmare.
