Hotel Rajwada Palace

There's no maintenance in the rooms. Water fittings leak all over, and my clothes got soaked because of it. In most rooms the toilet flush is clogged, and there seems to be no fix. The bathrooms are missing mirrors for shaving, and the rooms have no mirrors for getting dressed. Many rooms have no TV or geyser, and the electrical appliances are in poor condition. The AC and fans aren't maintained, and the geyser especially wasn't working at all in December, when it was most needed. Meanwhile, the staff sat at reception smoking beedis and watching their phones all day. Nobody was willing to sort out these real problems during our stay. This was the worst hotel stay I've ever had. I wouldn't recommend it even to my enemy. Don't be taken in by the name 'Rajwada', there's nothing here to match it. Don't ever visit Hotel Rajwada Palace.

After traveling 250 km, I was turned away at check-in even though I’d paid for the room in advance through Goibibo. The receptionist was rude, and I couldn’t find a contact number for the hotel. It felt like they were using the situation to keep my money. Girls, I’d be very cautious about staying here in an unfamiliar city.

I spent the night trying to sort out somewhere to stay after the hotel refused to give me a room. I had an OYO confirmation OTP, and OYO said seven rooms were available, but reception told me there was no availability. It was midnight, and I had my JEN exam in the morning, so the whole situation was embarrassing and upsetting. OYO also failed to provide the booked service properly. I plan to file a complaint against both the hotel management and OYO.

The rooms looked lovely, the property was clean, and the meals were tasty. We stayed two nights and had a really pleasant time, with good service throughout. Keep it up.
