Hotel Royal Palace Inn By OYO Rooms

I had to find somewhere else to stay at 11 pm. The staff and hygiene were awful from the entrance onward, and nobody at Agoda helped with my case. The hotel has no kitchen, yet the online listing promised free breakfast. They wanted extra money on top of the online price for an AC room, and kept calling before I arrived to ask me to cancel the online booking and book directly. The location was poor and the staff were rude. Honestly, it doesn't deserve even one star.

The place was filthy and the service was awful. Even the towel smelled of cigarette smoke. I had paid Rs 1343/- on Google pay for a three-day online booking, but Mr Chandra Prakash Sharma at reception rudely said I had to pay another Rs150/- or leave because there was no room. I paid it, only to be told it was a non Ac room and that an Ac room would cost another Rs 500. This felt less like a hotel and more like a building run by greedy people. My worst experience.

The bathroom had hair and a cigarette butt in the drain, and the geyser didn't work. The bed linen was in bad shape too, with stains on the sheets and a torn blanket. The room wasn't clean. Still, when we decided to cancel after one night, the staff cooperated and returned the rest of the money we'd deposited.

They used our late arrival against us. Even though the Oyo app showed the room as fully paid, they refused to give it to us unless we paid extra. Terrible management and service. Cheaters.
