The room was just okay, but the bathroom was in really unhygienic condition. This didn’t feel family friendly, and women may feel unsafe. I wouldn’t recommend it at all.

The location and staff made me happy with my stay. I arrived from the train station around 11 pm, and everyone was helpful. There’s a restaurant on the fourth floor with good food and a view, and the prices seemed reasonable compared with other restaurants. They leave a flask in each room. For hot water, ask the restaurant for a kettle and clean water, they’ll provide both for free. Wi-Fi didn’t reach the third floor, so you might want a temporary SIM or can sit on the ground-floor couches. There are hostel dorms and three floors of private rooms, with plenty of sleeping space. I’d go to the hotel instead of booking through MakeMyTrip or Airbnb. You can bargain for around 550 rupees, since the usual price seems to be 600, and there may be a discount for staying more than one night.

Our train was at 3 pm after an 11 o’clock Saturday checkout, and Manjeet Sir let us stay an extra 1.5 hours at no charge. That made leaving much easier. He also suggested a taxi driver for our whole tour, who turned out to be kind and trustworthy. Manjeet Singh Ji had arranged our pickup from Jaipur railway station when we arrived, and his warmth and attentiveness made us feel welcome. The staff went out of their way for us. The hotel was well maintained, with clean, well-appointed rooms, good amenities, and a relaxing feel. I’d highly recommend Hotel Vaishanavi for a comfortable, hospitable stay.

It’s close to the railway station, and the staff were helpful even when called late at night. The rooms are roomy, clean, and inexpensive, while the hotel’s inside and outside look like a royal palace. There’s a restaurant on the fourth floor serving very good food, with a puppet show too. The employees gave great service and were happy to cooperate. It seems a good option for foreign visitors unfamiliar with Indian culture and language, since staff are there to help. A decent place for a vacation, whether you’re staying a short time or longer.
